Adoption Procedure

Prospective owners are welcome to contact Mountain Home Saint Bernards via:

When reaching out, please include your address/city, previous experience with Saint Bernards (if any), and the purpose of the puppy (family companion, therapy dog, etc.).

If a puppy is available, we will provide:

• Photos and videos
• Date of birth, gender, and coat color
• Parent details and bloodline information
• Current health and vaccination status

Puppies are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to buyer approval.

To reserve a puppy from Mountain Home Saint Bernards:

• A reservation deposit is required
• The deposit confirms your intent and temporarily removes the puppy from public listings
• Deposits are non-refundable, but may be transferred to a future litter at our discretion

Before leaving our care, every Mountain Home puppy receives:

• Age-appropriate vaccinations
• Deworming treatments
• Veterinary health examination
• Health certificate
• Registration documentation (AKC / pedigree where applicable)

Prior to pickup or delivery:

• Full payment must be completed
• A signed Purchase / Adoption Agreement is required
• All relevant documentation and receipts are provided

For security purposes, approved payment methods will be communicated directly to the buyer.

Buyers may choose:

• Kennel pickup by appointment
• Professional ground or air transport, depending on location

Delivery includes airline-approved travel crate (if shipped), transport updates, and humane handling to ensure puppy safety and comfort.

Mountain Home Saint Bernards offers ongoing support after adoption, including:

• Feeding and care guidance
• Training advice
• Transition support for your new puppy
